Returns & Refunds

You may return any unopened wine purchases from Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd, provided that the wine that you wish to return adheres to the following Returns Conditions:

  • Notify Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd within 14 days of receipt of your wine
  • Is in re-saleable condition, labels intact and generally undamaged
  • Is returned in its original packaging within 14 days from notifying Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd
  • Is sealed effectively to allow for return shipping without compromising the content.
  • Is, where you are returning several different wines that were received as part of the same order, returned in one single shipment.

In case of incorrect wines received, the correct wines will be despatched, within 5 working days from receipt of the notification, at the expense of Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd.

Refunds will be made within 14 days from receipt of the returned wine, at the price paid for the wine, VAT included, less the original Shipping Costs, will be credited to the same account or payment method used to make the original purchase on the Website. If the payment was made by credit or debit card, refund times will depend on the credit or debit card company’s policies.

In case of compromised / faulty wine, please contact Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd before returning any wine.

  • Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd will then advise whether it is necessary to return the wine and determine in its sole discretion whether the wine is faulty, or the quality of the wine has been compromised.
  • Doolhof Wine Estates (Pty) Ltd will offer the Customer a refund within 5 working days of approving a valid request for a refund.

A refund of the price paid for the wine, VAT included, less the original Shipping Costs, will be credited to the same account used to make the original purchase on the Website. If the payment was made by credit or debit card, refund times will depend on the credit or debit card company’s policies.
